The Maple Grove Fire Relief Association is proud to support the educational aspirations of families connected to our local fire and police departments. Through our scholarship program, we invest in the futures of those who uphold our community’s safety and well-being.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
Relationship: Be a child, grandchild, or dependent of a current or retired Maple Grove firefighter or police officer.
- Service: Be a current Maple Grove Fire or Police Explorer.
Age: Be a high school senior or current college student up to age 24, or up to age 30 if you have served in the military.
Academic Standing: Demonstrate good academic performance and a commitment to community service.
Application Deadline
July 1, 2025
Ensure your application is submitted by this date to be considered for the scholarship.
How to Apply
Download Resources: Review the Application Process and Scholarship FAQ’s document to ensure you complete your application accurately.
Complete the Form: Fill out all required sections on the Application Form, including personal information, academic achievements, and community involvement.
Submit Supporting Documents: Send and email with transcripts, letters of recommendation, and any other required materials to vice_president@mgfra.org.
Selection Process
Applicants reviewed and selected by July 23rd, 2025.
Our selection committee evaluates applications based on:
Academic achievements
Community service and involvement
Personal essays and recommendations
Scholarship recipients will be notified via email and announced on our website and social media platforms.
Awards distributed directly to the institution by September 1st, 2025.
